Does this feature work for you?
For me no :(

Opera 8.50, registered as default mail program (opens after entering mailto:// in Run dialog).

Yes. Doesn't work as well.

I don't know, seems to work with TBird/SeaMonkey/Mozilla/Outlook express/Outlook (almost)...
