Shuts off

I really enjoy XnView and have been using it for some time now. I really appreciate the multi-convert feature.
I have Mepis installed and XnView has always worked, Recently though, whenever I load an image with it, or try to load the multi-convert feature, it immediately shuts down. I'm guessing it has to do with something I updated, but I wouldn't know what.
Any ideas of how to get it running again?

Only start multi convert dialog?

..by doing what...as in command...?

But it shuts down when trying to open a photo with it too......

When in Konqueror, I right click on a picture to open with XnView. It Opens for a split second and disapears. No error messages or anything...just gone. I can opne XnView on it's own, but when trying to open something or run the convert function, it shuts down.

Konqueror? So you are on linux?
