writing DDS file with alpha -channel

Hello XNviewers,

I have a question about XNVIEW reading & writing DDS files.
Normally this goes well, but when the DDS file contains the fourth layer (alpha channel) saving of the DDS only seems to save the first 3 layers (RGB ?) .
Reading the DDS file shows that the alpha-channel is correctly read (the dropper displays all four channels) .
Also I can see no optins in saving the DDS , I know it can be of DX1,DX3 or DX5 type, with only DX1 type not containing the 4th alpha-channel.

Is this something that can be fixed in the near future ??

I never thought requesting a change would be that easy.

This may be old post byt becouse i need batch processor who can write DDS files in DX5 type i will ask again is this posible to made.
