why isn't there an option to associate files with XnView?
I think the option to associate files with this program is necessary, because when I associate files through the "open with... " option ijn Win2k and I enable the "always use..." option there it doesn't work. When I click on a picture, nothing happens and i have to use task manager to kill the xnview and I have to start it from the shortcut and browse to the picture!
If anyone has a solution to my prob, please e-mail me to reddomester@yahoo.com
Thanks in advance!

Are you confident using "Regedit"?

So XnView process starts when you click associated file? Then my bet is that the association are ok, but XnView is bugging. Try to rename xnview.ini in XnView installation directory and see if that helps.Reddo wrote:When I click on a picture, nothing happens and i have to use task manager to kill the xnview and I have to start it from the shortcut and browse to the picture!
