Problem with AMD Dual Core Processor and XNVIEW 1.82.4

Since update from 1.82.2 to 1.82.4 XNView crashes whenever i want to open a jpg-picture.
I work with WIN XP SP2.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+

Any idea?
I have some else problems with firefox (problems with dual core !?)
Where can i download an older Version of XNView (1.82.2 )?

Please uncheck option/File list/Read ahead, seems to be a problem on some computers...
