Question about an option for fit image to height

yes Pierre, that's it, absolutely!

that's the point in my eyes that would make xnview fully valuable for the (main purpose?) to be a perfect image viewer (i hate truncated images or black bars)

could you give it any chance?

So if you set a favorite height, this height is always used for any session, any pictures, right?

yyes ...
but this is alreaady the case using fit to height ..
the favorite height is valid until i choose another one (resizing with mouse or choosing another viewer mode)

Will it have a chance for one of the minor versions following the 1.82?
.
It's my last big wish to xnview ... so much i appreciate this nice program, so unhappy am i about the lack of this little bit of flexibilty (not to see truncated or scrollbar'ed images but a well dimensioned window).

In current 1.82 beta, i stop the add of feature, so sorry but will be not in 1.82

i would like to see this with "fit image to window width LARGE ONLY".
and a button for choosing different views (not only a menu).

and is there an option where you can set a view (from viewer window)permanent for the session?
every time i choose "fit to window" and i press on the forward arrow, for the upcoming picture the setting is lost!?
when i am viewing comics, this is really annoying.
