Printing: "Increasing number"(#) does not increase

Post by Event Horizon »

Hello!

Today I scanned about 120 pages using XnView and I must say, this was very efficient, XnView is a very good tool!

Now i joined all scanned pages together into a PDF using XP freePDF which works fine, too.

But there ist just this little thing:

I'd like to put pagenumbers onto the pages.

In the printing menu you can choose information which will be placed at the top of the pages, one information is "increasing numbers" (or similar -I'm using the german version). It's the first option and just causes a '#' in the field below.

But in the "printed" PDF there's just a zero on every page.

Ist this my fault? Or what do I have to do to avoid this and getting incrementing Numbers?

I want an alpha version, too. And I guess the same applies to other people. Pierre, could you please place a link to the alpha version in the forum?

It's typical for alpha version that they are not stable. I'd like to see a link here in the forum with a short info what has been added.
