What do you mean by that? There's various options for making the image fit automatically. There's View > Auto image size for a temporary setting during one XnView session and Tools > Options > View > Auto image size for a permanent setting.

try this:
with wheel of mouse, zoom the image and then resize the image manually with mouse
you must click / for adapt the image to the window
is a little bug :)
i hope that will be fixed soon
and i hope for an option to hide the menù of xnview

Image

i think that would be perfect an option for hide it, and show and the passage of mouse!
edit. also the little icon ad the left of "file" must be hide... etc
i also think an option for show some commands like go forward or go backward at the bottom of image with the "hide-game"

If I get you right, you zoom in (e.g. 600%), then you cut the image (Edit > Cut). After cutting, the image is not automatically fit to the screen. Is this what you mean?

First we have to understand what you want. ;-) I guess hiding the menu will not be possible for a longer time. Have you tried fullscreen mode?
