cannot view mrsid

I'm not sure if I even want to, considering how long it takes to open a smaller .sid, but whenever I try to a open a MrSid of 190MB, I get the error format of file could not be determined.

So:

small MrSid (8MB) opens, but takes a long time, 55 seconds. Also it uses 169MB of memory according to the task manager.

large MrSid (190MB) gets format could not be determined error.

What's going on?

Perhaps need more free memory...
