Very trivial difference for me.
My cold start test:
Using ms explorer to launch 4119x9138.jpg into viewer's fullscreen. Win2k.
Cold start with Xjp2.dll, slide.exe= 18 seconds
Cold start with all plugins = 19-22 seconds
Warm restart with either group of plugins= 18 seconds
Average difference: 1.5 seconds...

Try small image, or even small image in "large" folder, with 500 images inside.

Hi Everybody...

I'm new to XnView (as I used ACDSee befofe) This soft is great! but I'm experiencing exactly the same problem described on the top of this topic.

I usuallu launch XnView in Browser mode. The start is quite quick Approx 2 Sec. As long as I browse from one Pic to another, everything is OK But as soon as I click on one of the menus the program freezes for approx 2 min & then restarts working normally. It even logs all my mouse clicks on the XnView window, & replays them when it unfreezes! :bugconfirmed: ?

Here is my config
P4 1.8GHz laptop, 768MB RAM
377MB RAM used before launch XnView
Windows XP SP1, XnView Ver 1.82.4Fr Unregistred
XnView uses 11750KB RAM

Do some one have an idea to help me?
Thank's

Ah! OK!!!
& what does that mean????

Can I do something to fix it? Or will there be a patch?
Am I the only one to have a WIA device?
Is this contagious?

Thanks for your quick answer anyway!

I have fixed it in next release, and this happened only on some OS with WIA, don't know why...

OK Thanks! Hope the next release is coming soon.

By the way, I'd like to thank you for such a program. I used to be fond of ACDSee until the new versions became too heavy to use on small computers. Picasa isn't the right solution because of it's lack of batch modifying files.

This program is simply great, & I just wanted to congratulate you for it!
