XnView incorrectly displays colors in CMYK coding

example cmyk: jpg, tiff
example rgb: jpg, tiff

download and view in PhotoShop: identical pictures
view in XnView: rgb - OK. cmyk - wrong.
in case of cmyk rgb - thumbnail displays right, but picture wrong

when it is possible to expect correction of a situation?

Yes, but XnView doesn't use the ICC profile.

Salut,

on est très nombreux à penser que XnView est le meilleur des utilitaires de gestion et de visualisation d'images.
Hélas il a une énorme lacune... pas de gestion des profils colorimétriques nécéssaires à tout travail sérieux. C'est vraiment un aspect essentiel qui m'a fait me tourner vers Faststone Image Viewer qui gère le CMS (m'enfin à bien y regarder c'est plutôt mal géré).

Bref, à quand une gestion sérieuse des profils colorimétriques dans XnView ?

Un internaute "exigeant" :wink:

PS: félicitation pour ce remarquable travail de développement. Ton application mérite toutes les éloges. Bien des programmes payants ne lui arrivent pas à la cheville.
