If i activate Options -> View -> Fullscreen -> Show Information, and i choose to show <Date> then if i open a photo taken on May 12, 2005, i will see 2005:05:12 on the screen.
But here in Spain we don't use this date format, 2005:05:12 in Spain is 12:05:2005, is it possible to change date format on full screen mode in Xnview ? Thanks.
I had a problem with board text editor, i have to disabled "Disable HTML in this post" on board text editor to be able to show "Text=<Date [d/m/Y]>", sorry.
I actually use <Date Taken [A d/m/Y H:M:S]> to show the complete EXIF date of my photos (and enter all information through the Options Panel View>Fullscreen).
In your case it should just be <Date Taken [d/m/Y]>.
When turning your pictures, you'd better use XnView > JPEG lossless transformations (contextual right click menu) > rotate based on EXIF value: it won't degrade your pictures nor remove EXIF.
It's the best way to do so. (by the way: I never rotate my original files and work only on copies)
