USB Event not working in 1.70.4

Anyone knows why the option of "Add XnView as applications to USB events (camera, scan, ...)" do not save in the Windows XP?

I am using XnView 1.70.4 and when I check this options and hit Ok, nothing happens. Next time you see that option, it is still unmarked.

Any thoughts?

Strange, are you in administrator or user privileges?
