WishList: Flat Thumbnail Border

I like the browser "background colour" and the "thumbnail back colour" to be different (so that the thumbnail "cartouche" stands out from the background).

However, if I choose to assign colors to background and thumbnail, the thumbnails automatically acquire oldstyle "raised" borders (which I find distracting to look at).

My wish is that I could choose a simple (flat) thumbnail border.

I love XnView and use it all day long.
