extract embedded thumbnails from RAW pictures to JPEG ?

XnView uses embedded thumbnails for fast displaying RAW pictures. is it possible to batch extract embedded thumbnails from RAWs preserving EXIF to JPEG? these JPEGs should have the same name and date as the RAWs.
