Hi - I've perused the newsgroups for answers, but no luck so I'm posting fresh...
Videos play perfectly well with Xnview, but attempts to capture stills result in a black, blank box - tho the movie controls are visible.
This has worked before until I had to reinstall video drivers (ati 9200) and then poof.
I've also updated to newest Xnview.
DX is also reinstalled.
There are no other problems with graphics that I can see.
I'm sure this isn't an issue with XNview but some help would be appreciated - anyone had the same problem??
thanks

This is simply for catalogue purposes where the start frame is not representative of the whole clip to make cross-referencing easier to deal with......!

discovery - I've had LIGOS' player installed, inserts a MPEG2 layer somewhere and loads as part of M$ player....uninstalled and all is perfect.
This may be of use to you - I'll swap this info for that Divx filter...
