Post by Dreamer »

- Ctrl+Shift while moving with left button (win. standard) doesn't work
- Moving with right mouse button doesn't work completely
- Create shortcut in missing in context menu

Hi all!

This would indeed be a very helpful feature and would ease image categorization.

Maybe the Windows standard right mouse button drag & drop would be the best solution. You know the one where you have four options: move, copy, create shortcut and cancel. Only having Ctrl+Shift+LMB would be okay though. Reading the ninth paragraph of this post it seems as if it once worked.

A current workaround is to hold Ctrl and click the right mouse button to use the windows standard context entry "Create Shortcut". But using this you have to remove the name prefix of each file and it creates them in the current folder and not in a folder you want them to be.

In general I am very content with my switch from ACDSee to XnView. It's really a great piece of software, many thanks to the author!!!
