Mouse image scrolling enhancement

Post by rainman »

Hi all.
xnview has become excellent tool since I have tested the very first version.

Unfortunately still does not support smooth image scrolling using a mouse. Succesful examples: ACDsee. Acrobat Reader. I mean if I want to see the original picture at 100% which is greater than the desktop screen then the scrolling with keyboard or mousewheel is not comfortable enough.

Holding down the right mouse button enables you to scroll with the mouse.

Thanx a lot for your answer.

It works. However for the fullscreen view I had to deselect in my settings: Options / View/ Fullscreen [ ] enable mouse navigation
otherwise the mouse button loaded next picture.

Concerning scrolling itself: At my Compaq P4 1.8 GHz it isn't so smooth as it is in ACDSee (some clipping occurs when moving :| ). I have high quality zooming disabled.

Anyway, I think that XnView provides great value for free :P.
