I am new to XnView and to the forum. One of the key features I've been searching for in a viewer is a browser detail list as talked about in the forum. I was really hoping to see it in the next version of XnView.
The functionality talked of in these threads is to change the column headings on the browser thumbnail & detail view to show IPTC or EXIF information and sort on these fields. It would make me a very happy person too!
The tab approach shown in current alpha is ok, but lacks the ability to sort and easily compare the information.

Sorry but not sure that i'll add time to add this feature....
After approx. six years I want to pump up this posting ....
In the last time there were many new features relating to IPTC and Exif, and also the thumbnails can be displayed with IPTC-data - so why not add user defined columns for IPTC in Detail View (like Total Commander ...)

Yes, not easy to add in this version (you have it in XnViewMP)
