Hi
Is it possible to add 'Open with XnView' to the right-click menu in Windows XP?

Yes, by using association

I've set the association, but it's not quite what I was looking for. I have ACDSee, and when I right-click on a folder I get the option to 'Browse with ACDSee', that is open that folder . I think this was done by the ACDSee installer program.

Xnview has option>install>"Add 'Browse with Xnview' to context menu"
Your other viewer program should also have option to remove its 'browse with' on explorer's folders- if that is what you wish.
