98SE requirements

Post by cel »

I am considering installing on a friends Windows 98SE computer.

It is a 350Mhz with 64 RAM.

Will XnView work on this old of a computer? Is there enough RAM

She wants to view pictures on a CD and possibly simple editing

Thank you in advance

According to the download page it should work with Win98SE, but I was surprised that I can't find any system requirements anywhere. Shouldn't that be necessary information to have on the download page? Someone?

Yes it works on Win98SE, the only requirement is Internet Explorer 5 for Control

Thank you for your prompt reply. I think my main concern was the older processing speed of 350Mhz and the RAM of 64.

I will install it some time later this week on my friends machine and see how it goes.

Thank you again
Take care
