There's always people that are beginners and those who are experts. And a software must serve both types of users needs. Having tooltipps all over the place might help the novice user, but the experts would be annoyed.

There's the symbol for beginners and experts can use the double-click, so I think that's a reasonable solution.

Why not an option : DisplayInterfaceToolTips or DisplayGeneralToolTips ?

So when a beginner becomes an expert, he can disable this display...

- We have such options already for the thumb-nails and for the tool-bar. It's missing for other items, though…
