Black Line on right Side of thumbnails

Post by brotondi »

Known Bug? 1.82.4 and 1.90alpha2: I scanned 100 Pages with text. (2bit-PNGs) On 80% there is shwon a black line on the right side.

(Workaround if you need to trim pages with real black line from the scanner: Use MS Explorer Thumbnails)

Interesting: The bug disapeas if you convert the pictures to 256 colors and reapears when converting to black/white

(but still only a little bug to be corrected when there is time for it)

Hi Pierre

Since it interests you, I played around half an hour - or more ;): (I sent you an email with the example and Screenshot)

- The line occurs only when you use High Quality Thumbnails
- it does occure sometime and sometime not with different pictures at different Thumbnail size and different png-Formats (8bit-pngs (grey), 2bit (b/w))
=> The same picture has the line in one Thumbnail size and not in another size
- It can also appear in high quality-Viewer Mode

etc.

Interesting :) I think a little bug in calculating the high-quality images, some overflow or similar at the right end of each line.

Have a look at the email I sent you ... AND STILL THANKS FOR XNVIEW

I like it very very much :)

Greetings, Bruno
