How to change thumbnail image after changes in photo

Post by Jusa »

It is easy to make corrections and changes to photo but which way these changes will be driven to the thumbnail. Thumbnail now remains same as before the changes after overwriting???

Not EXIF

Post by Clo »

:) Hello ! Welcome aboard !

• In that case, no longer use the EXIF embedded thumb-nail.
- Untick the box >> Options >> Browser >> Thumb-nail [X] “Use embedded thumb-nail”

• Then, XnView'll build the thumb-nail directly from the picture…

 Kind regards,

Hi Claude,
Thanks for advice which surely is good enough, but now I have a funny problem. I have the Finnish version of XnView and now I am not able to find the correct box to operate. I am not able to find out what means EXIF embedded term in my Finnish version. Now I cannot find correct boxex to put x on!!! Propably I must download the English version to follow your good advice!!!! That is funny.
Perhaps you could tell me why all my title texts in these forum pages are in French and not in English . To my opinion, I have all settings set in English. That`s funny , too

Change language

:) Hello !

• No need to download anything, just go to Options >> Language and choose "English" >> OK …
There is always English as the built-in default language.
