XnView won't open my images on doubleclick

I apologize if this question has been answered and through creating this I've wasted your time, but I can't get XnView to open my images when I doubleclick them in explorer. If I open XnView and then browse to the image, it works fine. If I open XnView and drag the file into the window, it also works fine. I can see the process in Task Manager as xnview.exe, using ~6mb of ram, but after its initial launch, it does nothing. Help?
