Change of only one item in ITPC?

Hello you all,

i wold need some help editing the ITPC information since i am a xnview beginner. When i select a group of picture to edit the ITPC, the information of he first picture is written to all other pictures.

For example: i searched for all pictures by the authors name. Then i canged this name for all pictures because the spelling was wrong. But also all the other information like keywords were changed according to the first selected picture. This means 2 days of work is destroyed, all the different keywords i distributed to about 500 pictures are changed to identical information in just 5 seconds! How can i solve this for the next time?

Use Clear, change the IPTC field, and write all (you must have enable 'Keep current value if new value is empty)
