Immediate feedback for Properties and EXIF

In the preview area, when changing selected file, would it be possible to display Properties and EXIF at once (ie: before loading the image itself) when those tabs are shown?
-> it would provide immediate data display while browsing...
(small thing, but can be useful)

EXIF can be loaded into database for faster EXIF-based searches and other features. This helps your problem as well. But I think it is rather for future.

I was hoping for some kind of 'random access':
1. Read just Metadata (a few KB)
2. Read Image (if needed)
(that could save 99,9% of the readings without image preview and would be quite efficient in other parts of XnView: metadata edition in batch, search...)
