Hi,
after uninstalling XnView there is left "View with XnView" in the popup-menu, when rightklicking on a folder. How can I get it away?

There is an option in XnView to enable/disable it. In XnView 1.82.4 go to Options/Install and remove the tick from "Add 'Browse with XnView' to context menu" checkbox.

But if you don't want to reinstall XnView you can remove it manually. From the registry.


Here's how to remove it manually. Use Registry Editor at your own risk!

1. Start Registry Editor (regedit) (if you don't know how... Click Start, click Run, type regedit and then click OK.)
2. In regedit browse to key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell in that key there should be a sub key with name "Browse with XnView" maybe it's "View with XnView" in your case.
3. Delete that sub key by right-clicking it and select delete.

Effect should be immediate no reboot or anything like that is needed.
