Xnview does not start on MacBook OS X.10.4.8
I have just bought this Mac and I have the same pb.

Well, get on with it!
I've used the Windows and Lunix (under Apple X11R2) versions, and I have to say Xn is much better than CocoView -- its nearest competition -- in that it satisfies the need for us iView mavens to see both EXIF and IPTC information in our files in a whole new light. Also, I believe yours is the only app on the Mac side of things to enable editing of both comment block and IPTC description without having to re-save a file (cq GraphicConverter), nor does it get one confused with the other so often one could tear their hear out (cq le prémentionné iView MediaPro).
Patiently waiting for a full, thorough-bred OSX native version, along with the rest of us,
