Display Category with all images in subfolders

Post by lauviss »

Hello,

I used XnView for a few years.

Today I try the beta 1 version of 1.90 and I can see, it's fantastic. The most wanted and most missed feature was the "Category". Now I can categorize all my photos and rate them, too.

Two question only:

If I build a hierarchy of categories (e.g. people/family/brothers) is it possible to click on a high category (e.g. people or family) and to see the photos of all subcategories?

In which directory the information about categories will be saved? May I change this destination directory?

Thanks in advance for the answers and especially for this fantastic application.

Bye,
lauviss

Awesome! I look forward to this in a future release. The new categories feature is great.
