Slide Show settings to view large images at normal size

In an older version of XnView Slide Show, large images would display at full resolution when "View Normal Size" was selected. In version 1.82, this option is gone and large images are always resized to fit the screen. How do I turn off the automatic resizing of large images in Slide Show?

Yes, because i don't see any advantages to have this option. Perhaps you could explain?

My desire was to show all images at full resolution, and let Slide Show automatically "crop" larger images to fit my screen size. However, I can accomplish this objective via Batch Convert using the Resize Canvas Transformation. Thank you for the suggestion to use Resize Canvas in my other other post.
