I confirm. It happens wherever db is located.xnview wrote:Ok, i'll check, but perhaps because db is always updated???ckit wrote:1. Open XnView 1.90 alpha 2

Since I started using the new locations for files this now happens in "C:\Program Files\XnView\cache" and is still a problem in 1.90 beta 1.
Even if the DB is always been updated it shouldn't access the disk like this.
Update:
Turning the cache off altogether only slows the flicking down so that isn't the problem!
From now on I'm leaving the cache OFF because I'm not happy with this situation.
Update 2:
Cool idea, turning cache back on, moving it to my spare D:\ drive and setting it to "none" instead of "ZIP". This way if there is a leak in XnView it can corrupt my D:\ and I won't care less.

Re: A2: XnView Data Folder Flickering Bug
Right, it's really hard to fix it. A temporary file is created during thumbnail creation (SQL requests for cache/categories)ckit wrote:1. Open XnView 1.90 alpha 2
