Moreover, I git the dialog "Do you want to save your changes" yes/no in a loop => screen is flooded with dozens of instances. I am not sure what exactly caused that bug

but I have to type some number (!) in order to get the GUI calendar (!). That's really strange and I consider this to be a bug. A double click on the icon or the date field shall open the calendar.
Moreover, I git the dialog "Do you want to save your changes" yes/no in a loop => screen is flooded with dozens of instances. I am not sure what exactly caused that bugas I cannot reproduce it. I was in browser mode, tagged a pic, rated the same or another one (?), in preview pane clicked heavyly on exif, modified the date. Sequence of actions may not be correct. Then I clicked on another image...
Sorry, no. I know it's not nice for a coder to hear "there's a bug, but I cannot tell you where/when"xnview wrote:GeorgD wrote:I am not sure what exactly caused that bugas I cannot reproduce it.
You can't reproduce it?
Nope, never happened again - is that good (does not happen[often]) or bad (bug still exists and can't be hunted down)? At least I can live quite fine like thishelmut wrote:@GeorgD: Did the problem occur again? Is there a way to reproduce the problem?
Moreover, they do a)helmut wrote:- The editable fields have to be clicked twice and slowly for editing. It does not always react. This should be improved.
Hm, that's not bugging me that much, but the column containing the field titles is very wide and cannot be changed in it's width. When working on the road (1024x768px) I can't make the preview area big enough to click the date AND still see a considerable amount of pics in the browser pane.helmut wrote:- The editabe datefields are very wide, much wider than the date displayed.
Hm, but AFAIK it was in alpha3?! *wondering*helmut wrote:- The icon gives you the feeling that you have to click on it for editing (which is not the case).
One part of 2nd bulled changed: a click on the edit icon changes the drop down to be editable, but does not bring up the calendar on a second click.GeorgD wrote:=> make XnView save the changes I make in the calendar
=> bring calendar up after fast AND slow double click on edit icon (in front of row) and date field
=> maybe let XnView override the language for EXIF field titles (I don't care at all)
Fixed in ß-6.GeorgD wrote: Moreover, I git the dialog "Do you want to save your changes" yes/no in a loop => screen is flooded with dozens of instances.
