B6: View 'No fit' now centered

I use to use view setting in last version set to no fit and this worked perfectly for my taste because i want to see the picture full size then I can move around with the mouse to see the rest of the picture. Now this setting cuts off the top of the picture. So if I am looking at a picture of a person in order to see their head I have to use the mouse to move the picture up. Last version (which I still have loaded) this doesn't happen

I hope this makes sense, if not sorry I can try to explain it better

You mean the image is now centered, while it used to be top-aligned, right?

YES it is now centered so if you looking at a picture of a person and the picture is big it centers in their body or little higher and cuts off their head. Before it would be top aligned and then I can use the hand to move the pic down to see the rest or zoom out

The original poster hasn't replied, but: Doesn't seem to be fixed, but the behavior is definitely stranger now. Often it'll show up in the center, as before, but sometimes it'll track where you last opened and open it viewed there. Like, if you close one on the right hand side, the next will open there. But, it's weird and hard to reproduce consistently. Often, if you close it on the upper right, the next will open on the lower right, and vice versa. Weird.

what does reset x/y do ??? I turned this on to test and that seemed to fix the issue but is this correct ???

It is correct. It resets position to top-left using certain auto-image sizes where centering is also possible. Thank you for testing this.

You might have been looking at the lock-zoom feature <ctrl + numpad />. This should maintain zoom and relative position from one picture to the next in browser's fullscreen. In viewer, it will only maintain zoom while causing picture to become cenetered. I believe this is a known difference which will disappear in some future version.
