View HQ: Fit... what's it purpose?

Post by Olivier_G »

First: I am not sure that Options>View>High quality zoom: 'Fit to Window/Desktop' actually work.
(uncheck 'Reduce'/'Enlarge' and keep 'fit' only -> I can't get any HQ when fit zoom is used)

I suppose it's for people who want quality only for "fit" (with fullscreen/windowed/preview) but don't want this CPU drawback while normal zooming... :?
But I'm not sure this option actually makes sense. What do you think?

Well, it didn't work some time ago. Someone reported the bug and it got fixed. Looks like the bug is back - at least in fullscreen view.

I use this option btw. But in the end only activating 'reduce' has almost the same effect (zooming out will take longer) so...
Get the bugs fixed, THEN start adding features. It sucks, but someone has to do it.

In v.1.90.3, there is only HQ settings reduce & enlarge. The others have been replaced.
