It must be F1, F2, F3 etc.

You have F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F8, F11, F12 in view mode,
and F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F7, F8, F9, F11, F10, F12 in browse mode

A search for "Hotkey" or "Shortcut" will lead you to FAQ "All Current Hotkeys / Shortcuts".

Currently the assignment of hotkeys, shortcuts, function keys cannot be changed (there are various other topics discussing and suggesting user-defined hotkeys, please use the forum search).
