Favourites and <del> problem.
1. Highlight favourite folder in tree view.
2. Press <del>.
3. *You might think you are deleting favourite here, but you can really delete folder in list view by mistake. I name my favourites the same as folder names (c:\test\images). Should <del> be disabled when favourites is highlighted to prevent such mistake?

Not fixed in B4. When Preview is disabled, <del> key does work in favourites tree. Now it deletes favourite entry. First file in details view is also highlighted grey. This is inconsistant with the programs behaviour when all 3 panes are in view.ckit wrote:Same in Beta 4.ckit wrote:Strange, Del key doesn't work for me at all in Favourites.

Yes, in layout #3 when tree pane is disabled the <del> key works on favourites. But, the first item in detals view is still highlighted grey (bug?).xnview wrote:Sorry i don't understand. In normal layout #3, <del> key does not work. First item in details view is not highlighted at all (which seems normal to me).
??? in layout3, with tree pane disabled, del try to delete entry in favorite, right??marsh wrote:Yes, in layout #3 when tree pane is disabled the <del> key works on favourites. But, the first item in detals view is still highlighted grey (bug?).

Could you tell me the step to reproduce it, please?marsh wrote:Right.xnview wrote:??? in layout3, with tree pane disabled, del try to delete entry in favorite, right??marsh wrote:Yes, in layout #3 when tree pane is disabled the <del> key works on favourites. Layout #3; Preview disabled; So you only have folders on left and file list on right.xnview wrote:Could you tell me a way to reproduce it?marsh wrote:A problem in RC1. Highlight a real folder in folder tree and it asks to confirm deletion for a file which is highlighted grey in file list.
Select folder in folder tree.
Now the first file in file list is highlighted grey. This does not occur when preview pane is enabled (this seems to be the bug).
Press <del>
It should ask to delete folder, but it asks to delete item in file list instead.
