Page through layer comps for .PSD files?

Post by TsunamiZ »

Since XnView can already page through .PSD layers, will paging through layer comps take long to implement [since they're very similar]? Layer comps are used VERY often in .PSD files, since they're like a snapshot of the visibility state of layers in the .PSD file. So instead of just paging through one layer at a time in XnView, users can view sets of layers per layer comp. How about add the ability to page through layer comps when viewing .PSD files?

Layer comp definition from Photoshop CS2 help:
A layer comp is a snapshot of a state of the Layers palette. Layer comps record three types of layer options:

Layer visibility—whether a layer is showing or hidden.
Layer position in the document.
Layer appearance—whether a layer style is applied to the layer and the layer’s blending mode.

Using layer comps, you can create, manage, and view multiple versions of a layout in a single Photoshop or ImageReady file.
