Is this a new version setting?
I used to have an older version till I re formatted that you could right click an image file and in the drop down list would be a thumbnail. Clicking that thumnail would expand it to its actual size, WITHOUT THE XNVIEW BROWSER. I liked this very much.
You could then right click THIS image and select full screen, and it would fill the screen. The mouse pointer would change into a grabbing hand and you could move the image around with the mouse.
I have version 1.70.4 now and every time I try to see a picture, the whole browser opens with it and if I expand to "full screen" I have to rely on side bars to view the whole picture.
Can you assist?

From what I can see you're speaking of a so-called 'shell extension'.TimelordUK wrote:Is this a new version setting?

You could use:
- Sage Thumbs
- XnView shell extensions
Like XnView both shell extensions are free for private usage.
From reading your description I can't really say which shell extension you had used before re-formatting your computer. The shell extensions can be installed separately, so you might have used even a third party shell extension.
