B6: Links to libraries MSVCP71.DLL and MSVCR71.DLL

Post by ckv »

Pierre IlmImf.dll plugin is linked to MSVCP71.DLL and MSVCR71.DLL. Not a big deal, but I presume you still want to eliminate these dependencys.

Thanks for the beta. :)

XnView Tweak UI - Tool to customize your XnView beyond the regular XnView options.
UI-less Settings - Documentation of all the hidden settings in XnView.
XFAM - Tool to create and customize XnView file associations.

Yes, IlmImf.dll can only be built by VC 2003 or 2005 :-(

I've just installed XnView 1.90 RC1 on a laptop with XP. When starting XnView an error message appars: xnview.exe - component not found. Message text says something like "The applicatioin could not be started since MSVCP71.dll was not found. Reinstallation of the application might solve the problem". After confirming the message box XnView starts.

In the above posts related or even similar issues have been reported. Do other people also have this problem?

@Pierre: The error message is not nice at all - I hope that you can do something about it.
