Hy Pierre
I'm using RC3 very intensiv and i must say..... very cool stuff, thanks a lot. A little thing, what it would make more handy is to put the CloseTab functionality from upper right side, direct onto the Tabhead (like in IE7). I'm using a 24" TFT and its allways a long distance, to move the cursor to the upper right corner. And it would be much more logical when its within the Tab. What you mean?

Jup. When I open a Picture from Browser with double click, it opens a new Window in a Tabview. This is very handy to have a lot of pictures open an move beetwen them with click on the Tab.
To close one of this Tabviews, you have to click on the cross in the upper right corner of the Programwindow (same functionality as "ctrl + w"). And i suggested to place this "closecross" directly on every opened Tab upon the iconbar where you show the filename. It could be directly at the right side of the Filename, like in new Internetexplorer. ok?

@ John
Hy - That's right, but what about, when i use the middle Button for something else.... what ever i could change it.
It was more the point for users, who are not using xnview often. For them is only usable, what is visible.... All the Shortkey's - what is extremly efficient in my opinien - they won't be able to use it.
@ Pierre
What you mean, is it possible?

close tab like firefox?
That's a 2 step process whereas in firefox you can click the close button directly on the tab. or can could be implemented with a small red circle to close it or a close button that appears on the left corner of the tab if mouse is hovering over the tab to allow user to focus mouse to activate the tab or close the tab?JohnFredC wrote:If you have a 3-button mouse (or a mouse with a wheel) you can "middle-click" on the tab itself to close it.
Is there any timeline when we'll be able to see multingual text in xnview instead of ?????
thanx.

XnView
Point at tab
Press middle-mouse button
Tab closes.
...that's 2 steps
FireFox, etc
Point at close-symbol [x] on tab
Press left-mouse button
Tab closes.
...that's 2 steps (too) !
What am I missing?
