No sound of videos in slideshow
In slideshows I can only see videos, but without sound. Is it not possible to play sound or do I have to change settings? If so: Where?

And you can view them in browser or view mode?hsterr wrote:In slideshows I can only see videos, but without sound. Is it not possible to play sound or do I have to change settings? If so: Where?

Not in browser, only in view mode (while slideshow is running). Picture is fine, but no sound - neither .avi nor .mpg would do.xnview wrote: And you can view them in browser or view mode?

And if you open the video in view mode, do you have sound? (not slideshow)hsterr wrote:Not in browser, only in view mode (while slideshow is running). Picture is fine, but no sound - neither .avi nor .mpg would do.xnview wrote: And you can view them in browser or view mode?

Ah! Here we are!xnview wrote: And if you open the video in view mode, do you have sound? (not slideshow)

I got a picture delay of about one second - so the voice is already off, but you see the speaker talking yet a while.

Strange, do you have problem with windows media playerhsterr wrote:Ah! Here we are!xnview wrote: And if you open the video in view mode, do you have sound? (not slideshow)The loudness in view mode is (by default?) set to zero; when I increase it, it works in view mode. To hear the sound in slideshow, it takes closing and restarting XnView. So: Fine, up to that:

Re: No sound of videos in slideshow
No. When run in WMP or Nero Showtime 3, I don't get such delay.xnview wrote: Strange, do you have problem with windows media player
But, even stranger, as I tested right now: When the same slideshow is started for the third time without closing XnView in between, the delay has vanished ...

Maybe the videosoftware has to be started before the slideshow, so it is resident in the system?
