Re: Better, but---

• In the board of thumb nails, all transparent BG are black, this is a general defect for all icons, any size, loaded as 32 BPP.
- Creating a new cache (renamed the old one) doesn't change anything…:|
You have problems to display icons with 1.90.2?? Now all is good for me...

Thumbs a View

Post by Clo »

:) Hi !

- Like I said above, the thumb nails are still bad for the BG…

- Zooming is OK in Preview, but makes the BG black at a certain close scale (zoom in¦out, same) in View only.
- Can reproduce it by 100%, same as the video I showed before…

• No more issue for the motives, though.

BOTH !
In thumbnail, you have the same as 1.90 & 1.82.4, the transparent or alpha channel is not used (ico, png, tga, tiff, ...).
But in view mode, i see all your icons correctly (only a little problem with unpack_48.ico).

And ?

Post by Clo »

:) Hi !
In thumbnail, you have the same as 1.90 & 1.82.4, the transparent or alpha channel is not used (ico, png, tga, tiff, ...).
• So, we'll have to live with that for some years more ? :|
…(only a little problem with unpack_48.ico).
• Hé, hé… I've resaved that icon in IcoFx as 32-BPP+Alpha, and now it's displayed alright in all viewers, including XnView ! :P

• Now, what about the View zooming bug ?

- I noticed that it occurs for blowing up¦reducing by a certain small percentage, but according to the size for zoom in only.
¤ For instance :
- 256², zoom in >> 101% - Zoom out << 99%
- 48², zoom in >> 103% - Zoom out << 99%
- 32², zoom in >> 104% - Zoom out << 99%
- 24², zoom in >> 105% - Zoom out << 99%
- 21², same than 24²
- Custom, W33 - H 35, zoom in >> 103% - Zoom out << 99%.

:? Hoping this helps…

Elsewhere…

:) Again…

• Just for information, how the icons 24² - 24 BPP look in the browser of IcoFx :

  Image

• I'd to use a trick, because it's impossible to capture simply that window, G.O.K. why…

¤ Point noted

Fixed and poor…

Post by Clo »

 Pierre

:) Good morning !

• The black-when-zoom bug is fixed up in the test version you sent me, thanks !

• But for the thumb nails, it looks “poor” still… :(

• I guess there is a trick on the image I show above in IcoFx… Maybe the transparency mask is replaced with white ?
- Or something like this ? Image
