Selecting files while in fullscreen
One great feature, that is crucial for post processing photos, is the ability to select photos while browsing them in full screen mode (all black background, without any panels what so ever).
How to in XnView?
I've tried using the tagged-function, but it really doesn't seem to do the same trick. Why not have an easily accessible key, like "m" to mark files, which is then marked as selected in the usual manner, when you leave fullscreen mode and return to the browser?
You can then move/whatnot the selected files and do whatever you want, in the same way you would have with ordinary selections.

Pierre.
Firstly; it is so much more awkward pressing Ctrl+T to tag images, than to press a single key to simply select them.
Secondly; you have to have the ugly tag-boxes turned on in while in browse mode, to see what files are selected (instead of simply viewing the selction markers).
Thirdly; I really don't know how to use the tags to move files after I've selected them. I bet there's a menu alternative somewhere that I haven't found yet, but isn't this yet another reason why selections works better, since selections could have been drag/dropped directly without any fuzzle.

You can use 'T', and if you tag some files, when you use Copy or another process, you'll be asked about which files to useGäst wrote:Firstly; it is so much more awkward pressing Ctrl+T to tag images, than to press a single key to simply select them.

It is possible to tag files and then set a filter. Then you can do whatever you like with them.
Ctrl+T seems to invert tags. Removing all tags is a bit too easy: switch directory for a moment.
Too bad I don't see any checkbox in fullscreen mode.
Btw: The "(un)tag current" in the menu are a bit useless without a hotkey.
