Fixed ratio selection
If the fixed ratio selection option selected it is possible to adjust the selection beyond the borders of the image. All you have to do is to drag the side or corner which is not the closest to the border. On the example below the ratio is 1:1 and the selection was adjusted by dragging the top border of it. The left border went out of the image.
