There are too many keyboard shortcuts, different for the browser and fullscreen:
Browser - Ctrl+T, Insert, Space
Fullscreen - T, Insert
I thinks It's confusing, shortcuts should be the same if possible, Space could be added as option also for fullscreen later, then it would be the same, my suggestion (already suggested earlier):
Browser - Ctrl+T, Insert, Space
Fullscreen - Ctrl+T, Insert, Space (as option later)

But in fullscreen you have Crt+T already! And space is used for other things in fullscreenDreamer wrote:There are too many keyboard shortcuts, different for the browser and fullscreen:

Yes, but only in Browser fullscreen, not in Viewer and 'edit' fullscreen, so it's even more confusing.xnview wrote:But in fullscreen you have Crt+T already!
I know, therefore I ask for option. Example, if someone wants to switch images by arrows , Space would be handy for the other hand to tag, or tag by Space (left hand) and switch images by mouse wheel (right hand). As I said, Space is very handy key, there are just two options for it, so why not add another one, especially if the same key is used to tag in Browser?xnview wrote:And space is used for other things in fullscreen

Right, but Ctrl+T is already for 'Fit window', so perhaps i must change this shortcut, a shortcut for 'fit to window' please?Dreamer wrote:Yes, but only in Browser fullscreen, not in Viewer and 'edit' fullscreen, so it's even more confusing.xnview wrote:But in fullscreen you have Crt+T already!

I can see how this shortcut thing can get entirely out of hand... there may be just too many to rationally organize in order to suit every single user.
It wouldn't be high on my personal priority list since I only use the keyboard to type data, but maybe a better approach would be to spend time designing a shortcut editor that links the keyboard to the cmd_ commands...
Then everyone could have their own shortcuts.
Perhaps the ability to assign keyboard shortcuts to the toolbar buttons would be a step in that direction.

Pierre - don't know, I found this shortcut:
Fit Image to Window - Ctrl+Shift+W
So perhaps for Fit window to image - Ctrl+Shift+I - but it's reserved, so maybe you could change both shortcuts:
Fit Image to Window - Ctrl+Alt+W
Fit window to image - Ctrl+Alt+I
JohnFredC - I agree, but there are more important things to do - and there is a workaround (not perfect, but working) - HotkeyP, more here:
