up dating XnView

should I un-install my old vers of xnview, Before installing the newest version? Also is there a way to keep my config.options so i dont have to go through re-configureing the new version?

To be safe, just back up the entire xnview folder. New versions allow you to put the options in one of several places, but in old versions it was always in the program folder.

The safest way to upgrade it to just install into a new folder. However, in general using the old folder will work, saves you a little time, but you might end up with some issues from old or deprecated options. Going fresh for a major release will prevent any surprises.
