Select…
• Select a spotted area where you wish to place the text before to get the dialogue, then place the text into that area…
- Your text comes attached to the cursor ! Place it and click !
- You could use the grid to spot the exact location.

Hey !
1. Where do you see "block" ?How can I have text centered or flush right?
2. The crystal balls are getting unobtainable nowadays…
3. Please, choose better epithets about the members here.
• One line or whatever, that doesn't change anything,
there is no feature to place the text automatically exactly centred or right¦left justified.

Like Clo said already above, there is no option currently for that you need.
You might post this as a request in the “Suggestions” section.
If the Author has some hidden INI entry in his pocket for such a case, he'll inform you.
But till today, I don't know such an entry.

L'important n'est pas de convaincre, mais de donner à réfléchir.
The important thing is not to convince, but to incite to think.

SO? Flush left, center and right are a rudimentary text function, similar to "Add Text..." font selection, size and color.
I know xnview isn't a word processor but Add Text... should implement this function by default for needed caption alignment. You get the idea.
I guess it's not been a requested feature for so long that it's not worth implementing?
