Pierre.
A workaround ---

- I know the bug of "crash with ICLs" for years, I have sent a lot of samples to Pierre a long while ago yet.
- The files themselves are not the cause, there is really a problem not really solved in XnView till today.
- Recently, I reported here that the bug remains in the French Forum.
- Waiting for 1.75, I use a workaround :
- When you have browsed the first ICL and that it has caused no crash, close the file, then open the next one from the menu File, and so on.
- Don't browse too quickly, I noticed that the bug occurs sooner if you ask for the Next Page as soon as the icon is displayed. It's less obvious if the PC has a so big amount of RAM (I've 320 MB SD-RAM for the P II 350, under Win 98SE)
- Indeed, this is not very handy, but allows to view the ICLs contents …

Waiting for the following version, I view (temporarily) the ICLs contents in an alternative viewer.Clo wrote:

In XnView I have blocked viewing of ICLs.
