Viewing icons on desktop sometimes displays message box

[Help needed]

I am new to nview and need some help, when viewing my desktop it shows my program icons some show ok but some dont, xnview keeps opening a box saying multiple icons and asks me to select a icon size is there a way I can show all these icons automatically.
